But until we get to July 27th, it’s speculation time.Ī re-imagining and expansion of the original game created by Mark Hadley, Slender: The Arrival starts out with you helping your childhood friend sell her house, but soon turns into her disappearance. Is Blue Isle planning a new entry in the series, or a remake that gives the 2013 game a fresh coat of paint? The latter might be the case, given that the teaser is up on Slender: The Arrival‘s Steam page. Creepy.Īs for just what the reveal will be is anyone’s guess. Instead, we get a rather sickly individual at the base of the stairs who doesn’t move. The teaser is appropriately cryptic, since Slenderman is nowhere to be found. Adding to the mystery is a new 14-second teaser, which you can see below. That would put the countdown at July 27th for a reveal of, well, something. Now, it appears that Blue Isle Studios’ jump scare machine is getting ready to go again later this summer.Ī new update to the official site for Slender: The Arrival has brought us a countdown timer, which currently stands at 34 days. It’s hard to believe that it’s been 10 years since Slender: The Arrival landed for PCs and consoles. The Nintendo Switch version is expected later this year. There are of course plenty of other Dying Light 2 mods available on Nexus Mods that do everything from tweaking the weather, allow you to repair your gear from scrap and more.ĭying Light 2 ( which we reviewed here) is out now on PC via Steam, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series. It’s also still being worked on, but so far does things like having Volatiles spawn starting from level 1 chase, tweaks upgrade prices and crafting requirements, gives the AI a big boost in terms of the mobs that you’ll encounter, removes the auto adjustable difficulty script, health and inventory tweaks and more. Lastly, there’s URMarty’s Nightmare Plus mod, which touts itself as “not for the faint of heart”. This in turn makes parkour and combat more challenging, and according to the modder, will not break your immersion with “floatness and crazy movesets”. While Dying Light 2 touts its parkour mechanics, Mac Daddy’s Realistic Hardcore Parkour Player Physics mod tweaks it further by adding realistic weight and momentum to the game. This mod simply increases the chance of zombie limbs flying off when you whack them. The modder notes that the “physics and animation” of the zombies has been toned down when compared to the original game. Starting things off is ISIKplay’s Improved Dismemberment mod. Looking to spice up your Dying Light 2 play on PC with some mods? Some of the more recent mods released improve the game’s dismemberment system, improve its parkour mechanics, and even add a Nightmare Plus difficulty mode.
